Bad Habits (Crime Comedy Short) : Director of Photography
Director and star of this short Jacob Dudman, known for performances in a number of notable Netflix productions, brought me in to shoot this 4-5 minute sketch written by his co-star Naail Ishy. It was shot with a very small lighting kit and a small crew in a tight space in Essex.

I was hired to shoot 1960s spy thriller inspired B roll of designer Jordan Bamford, as well as an extended interview with him, in his firm’s office in Mayfair for use across a number of videos promoting the long-anticipated collaboration between the two watch companies.

Thrive (Documentary) : Director of Photography
Director Zak Jaques brought me out to Snowdonia to begin shooting his new documentary focusing on a men’s mental health/hiking/ice bath/meditation community group that sprung up organically in Runcorn in the North of England. The film will be shot over 6-12 months.

This is a proof-of-concept micro-short providing a pitch platform for writer/director/star Olivia Maiden’s feature of the same name. The film would be a drama, focusing on a care worker’s attempts to track down the estranged family of one of her patients.

John Dee and the Scrying of Angels (Historical Short) : Director of Photography
I was brought in to shoot a few pickup scenes for a longer short film about famous Tudor figure Dr. John Dee’s attempts to talk to angels through a medium and their affect on his home life. Created by writer/director/star Lawrence Brightman. The bulk of the film was shot in 2018.

WeyFest 2022 Official Coverage (Event Promo) : Roaming Camera Operator
Kitcatt Studios brought me in to assist as a roaming camera with their official wrap video for the WeyFest 2022 music festival. We decided to shoot the entire project on cinema cameras instead of traditional news gathering style systems to give the project a really premium and organic feel.

Rise Up Residency: Margate 2022 (Charity/Art Promo) : Camera Operator
Fifth Wall TV brought me in to shoot, over the course of two days, assorted coverage of the Rise Up ocean sustainability awareness project, which saw over a dozen artists paint themed murals all over the historic seaside town. As the hero shots of the murals were to be taken much later, and with drones, my role was to capture the reactions of the public to the in-progress pieces, and up close footage of the artists doing their thing.

Remember Us (Social Drama Feature) : Lighting Lead
The film follows a black teenager, Lucas, who meets an initially abrasive elderly gentleman with dementia, Mr Miller, whilst on community service, forming a friendship that will bring him into conflict with the unsavoury group he normally hangs out with. The film has an almost documentary-like style, and at all times we aimed to keep the look grounded and realistic. Directed by Kaitlyn Boxall.

The Gift (Drama Short) : Director of Photography
This project stars real-life world champion boxer Steve Collins as a trainer who is surprised by a visit from a daughter he never knew he had. The short is a two-hander that was shot over the course of only one day, despite being roughly 15 minutes in length.
